Opened in 1975, Dragon Valley Resort is Korea's only year-round comprehensive resort located 215 kms east of Seoul. the ski grounds are spread over the Balwang Mountains and there are more than 198 different runs and lifts. It will also be a venue fir the 98' Alpine World Cup and Winter Asia Games in 1999.

Skiing Description :

BEGINNERS :
Beginners can readily build their confidence on the wide Yellow, Pink and Slider Lines which finish just in front of the hotel..

ADVANCED :
exoert skiers will find plenty to challenge them on Yong Pyong Resirt's 1,750 m Gold Line.

INTERMEDIATES :
About half of the 13 slopes in the resort cater for the intermediate skiers which make it the perfect choice for this standard.

SNOWBOARDING :
There are 2 slopes for snowboarding, one for intermediate and one for advanced.

Children Facilities
Children should have great fun while playing in the children's plaza and numerous wide open ski slopes. At certain times of the year, different kinds of entertainments are also available.

Location : Situated 213 km east of Seoul. Dragon Valley Resort is one of the largest ski resorts in Korea.
Facilities :facilities in the complex include tennis and racketball courts, golf courses, a heated indoor swimming pool and a fully equipped fitness centre.
Rooms :The luxurious Dragon Valley hotel has 191 rooms in total, rangong from Korean-styled rooms and Suites. Korean style rooms offer a cosy atmosphere and an authentic feel with elegant Oriental furniture. Whereas the Western-styled rooms offer a refined design.
