Zao, Eboshi is a large and charming resort on a mountain in Miyagi where ski lifts have been running since the late 1920's.  Zao has the feel of an old Japanese village but for foreign skiers, it will bring to mind places like Colorado and St. Moritz where nostalgia and tradition are as thick as snow where you can enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean from the mountains.

Mt. Zao is a good choice for beginners because there are spacious gentle resorts right in the heart of the resort.

ADVANCED :
The Challenge is a cliff-like (35-degree slope) stretch of trail that will wear out just about anybody.  Fortunately it's short!

INTERMEDIATES :
With a choice of moderately steep runs the vast majority of slopes are perfect for intermediates.

This is allowed on some slopes.
