Nestled in the mountains of Hokkaido, the beautiful resort of Sahoro, is fully equipped to accomodate all levels of skiers. The professionally trained ski instructors provide 8 different levels of classes, ranging from beginnes to experts. Visitors can also arrange an excursion tour to downtown Sapporo to visit the world famous annual Fnow Festival.

Skiing Description :

BEGINNERS :
An ideal resort for beginners and first-timers, with easy, scenic runs and highly effecient ski school. South Street, next to the No. 2 high-speed double chair is a food one to try.

ADVANCED :
Although the skiing is not extensive for advanced skiers, you will want to ski the Southway, which heads off the left about halfway down Central Avenue.

INTERMEDIATES :
There are some challenging runs with excellent scenery. Do try Central Avenue, a nice cruising run from top to bottom, starting to the right when you get off the gondola.

SNOWBOARDING :
All runs allow snowboarding.

DINING AND LOUNGES
On the mountain: Only one eatery-Yamagoya-near the base of the Sahoro No.2 quad, serving Japanese style fast food. At the base: A good selection of Western-style fast food; soups, hamburgers, etc. at the Gondola Station.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
There are a variety of outdoor activities offered in addition to skiing. you could try your hand at skating, horse riding and sleigh-riding. Other activities such as swimming, tennis, squash, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, archery, aerobics, aqua-gymnastics, arts and crafts, and disco are also available.

There are many activities here for children and there is an excellent children's program for both skiers and non-skiers. Ski-practising gound, ski-garden and kid's park. There are also baby sitting sservices available for 3 to 8 year olds. At Kids Farm next to the gondola station there are videos, picture books, toys etc.
