Rusutsu Resort is one of the most famous all-round resorts in Japan and a wonderful full-scale hotel where you can have fun, relax and enjoy the charms of a vast highlands, blessed with natural splendor all-year round. The hotel features traditional European-style streets and facilities, along with a wave pool, a magnificent public bath and a gymnasium, as well as unique restaurants and shops. The hotel also welcomes many guests from neighboring Asian countries and the West.

Skiing Description :

BEGINNERS :
There are beginner courses situauted near Rusutsu Resort on Mt. West and Mt. Izola. The Izola Grand Course is a long, pretty, perfect crusing run; a great place to learn to ski. There is a good ski school which offers private or group lessons.

ADVANCED :
The off-piste possibilities are boundless and the steepest runs at Rusutsu are two short Across runs linking East Mountain and Izola Mountain. They are tough and bumpy, but either is long enough to tire you out.

INTERMEDIATES :
Having a compact system means that there is [lenty of scope for intermediates to improve. Five intermediate runs provide challenging skiing over varied terrain.

The runs on either side of Izola No. 1 Quad lift.

DINING AND LOUNGES
There are numerous resturants, bars and tea lounges or you could try your hand at Karaoke.
On the mountain: The big cafeteria at the base of east Mountain (in the gondola station) has a wide selection of Japanese and Western food. There is also a fast - food stand in the same building. At the base, there is a "food - court," reminiscent of an American shopping mall in the Resort Hotel.

Location : Rusutsu resort is situated at the basr of West Mountain and conveniently located just beside the skiing area and is divided into several different wings.
Facilities : The hotel can accommodate 2,800 guests in its 647 rooms, 14 log houses and cottages. There are also 20 restaurants and 16 shops.
Rooms : Deluxe rooms in the north and south wings all have mordern furniture with private bathroom, IDD telephone and TV with in-house video.
