Niue

One of the world's smallest countries, Niue lies 350 miles / 565 km south of the Samoas in the South Pacific and about the same distance northeast of Tonga and northwest of the Cook Islands. About 11 miles / 18 km wide, Niue is not a typical South Pacific island. It has no rivers and relatively few beaches; its waters are extremely deep and clear (visibility up to 300 ft / 90 m); and the southern, western and northern coasts of Niue are surrounded by a coral reef. The western side offers smooth water for snorkeling and diving.
