Fast and comfortable link between the new airport at Chek Lap Kok and Central, business district in the Hong Kong Island. It stops Kowloon Station and Tsing Yi Station en route. Flight passengers can check-in at Hong Kong and Kowloon Stations once they have bought their train tickets. This facility enables flight passengers being relieved from their luggage burden and have more free time to enjoy their Hong Kong visit before they embark for their flights.

Other perks:
* Free MTR feeder. Airport Express passengers using Octopus will receive a complimentary MTR journey when using the MTR as a feeder service to or from the Airport Express Stations.

* Free Airport Express Shuttles. At 20 minutes intervals (starting on 20 January 1999), Airport Express Shuttles will convey Airport express passengers between Hong Kong & Kowloon Stations and major hotels. Passengers must show either a valid air ticket, boarding pass, Airport Express ticket, Octopus card or Airport Express ticket voucher when boarding the shuttle bus.

* The train service will run from 6:00am to 1:00am everyday with schedules of every 8 minutes. The train journey will take about 23 minutes.

Ferry:
15-minute trip between the airport and Tuen Mun on the coast of the mainland. It will expand to other urban centres in time. Operate from 6am to 10pm everyday at 20- to 30-minute intervals. Fare: (one-way) HK$15 for adults, HK$10 for children.

Transportation Centre

Passengers can board or disembark from the Airport Express, taxis, buses or tour shuttles at the Transportation Centre. If you travel by private car, there are around 3000 car parking lots for short term and long term parking. This is available from a multi-storey car park building that is adjacent to the Passenger Terminal and part of the airport hotel complex. The Transportation Centre can also accomodate 550 taxis at the four-lane staging area.
